But first, let’s start with a fun Monday marketing meme:

Don’t mind us while we dance and cry at the same time.

Had a good chuckle? Now you’re ready for today’s newsletter. Here’s what we’ve got:

  1. A guide to doing a content audit

  2. A marketing tool to make SEO a breeze

  3. A quick tip to boost SEO

Let’s jump in.

Guide: Increase Website Visitors With A Content Audit

If content is king, you may think that your best strategy is to produce more content, but this article is here to show you that’s not necessarily true. In this guide, agency owner Thakur Rahul Singh details the exact steps his agency took to add 10k site visitors to a client’s site by cleaning up the content that already existed.

“Instead of helping them produce more content, we did a content audit on their website and improved some of their old pieces. Guess what? Our strategy resulted in 10k+ new monthly visitors within 10 weeks, as some of their old articles started ranking on Google.”

A tool to make SEO easy: MarketMuse

Here’s the elevator pitch: MarketMuse makes SEO easy. If you’re worried about keyword stuffing, or not using enough related keywords, or just need ideas for different angles to cover in your article, MarketMuse does all that and more.

The way it works is by providing you with a list of keywords and suggested densities to include in your article. It scans your competitors to find the very best keywords to include – and it’ll let you know if you’re overdoing it.

Our editor Zulie uses MarketMuse to get her articles to rank, which she’s written about here.

You get 10 free articles per month, or you can bump up to 100 monthly queries if you’re a serious marketer for $150/month.

Today’s Tip: Boost Your SEO in Just 15 Minutes a Day

When it comes to boosting the SEO of your website, it’s easy to jump into the creative and fun options. That doesn’t mean it isn’t worth giving the time of day to some of the less glamorous options.

Our editor Zulie was able to boost multiple keyword ranking by dedicating just 15 minutes a day to improving internal linking.

TL;DR: don’t overlook the mundane methods!
